Korean Cultural Center UAE will host ‘2022 KCC King Sejong Institute Korean Speaking Contest’ as below.
⑴ Topic

1. “Korean Language •︎ Korean Culture, the same only different”
(Explain the similarities and differences between Korean Language and Culture compared to your own)
2. “My life, My future in 10 years’
⑵ Eligibility
∎ UAE resident who has ever studied at the KCC UAE King Sejong Institute (Including KCC UAE online Korean language course) and must be over 18 years old.
※ Note
- The previous winners of first place in the speech contest are not allowed to participate in the speech contest.
* However, 2nd and 3rd place winners can participate.
* UAE Korean Speech Contest winners can participate in this speaking contest (excluding 2021 winner of the first place).
⑶ Prizes
∎ 1st : Participation in the Korean Culture Training Program in Korean by King Sejong Institute Foundation
∎ 2nd : Participation in the Korean Culture Training Program in Korean by King Sejong Institute Foundation
* The Korean Culture Training Program(In October) for winners could be canceled or reduced depending on the situation of COVID-19.
∎ 3rd : Gift and Voucher(400 AED) for KCC King Sejong Institute
* A certificate and a special gift will be provided for all the finalists.
* Prizes are subject to change without any notice.
⑷ Application (Preliminary Round)
∎ Deadline : 31 May (Tue), 2021 (11:59PM, The local time in the UAE)

※ Required Participant Documents
1. Certificate of KCC UAE King Sejong Institute(Copy) or evidence of enrollment
2. Copy of Your Emirates ID
3. Final Script in Korean (3~4 minutes, no more than 4minutes/ script form attached)
4. Voice Record File in Korean (No more than 2 minutes/ MP3 format only)*
* The Voice Record file must include all of the following:
-A Self-Introduction
-Your Reason for Participation
-A Brief Introduction of Your Chosen Topic
⑸ Announcement of Finalists
∎ Results of the preliminary round will be sent by email.
- Further directions for a final round will be sent to finalists of each contest by e-mail.
