Escape: The March 1 movement began with rumors about the assassination of Queen Myeongseong and the poisoning of King Gojong by Japanese assassins. With the sacrifice of many people, sovereignty was regained. The spirit of the Republic of Korea, re-emerged thanks to the sacrifices and passion of our ancestors, was displayed at the place where the ancestral rites of King Gojong and Queen Myeongseong were celebrated.
