In celebration of upcoming Hangeul Day on 9th Oct 2022, the Korean Cultural Centre Australia (KCCAU) presents the <2022 Hangeul Sarang Event> from 14th Sep to 5th Oct for anyone residing in Australia to be able to take part in as no prior knowledge of Hangeul is required. KCCAU has prepared two categories; one for children and the other for youth and adults in order to offer opportunities to a wide range of locals who wish to appreciate the beauty of Hangeul as a form of art on top of its practical function of delivering the Korean language.
<Decorative Hangeul Day Event: Children Only>
This event is for children only who can either download the Hangeul Day template prepared by the KCCAU or can create his/her own design to highlight the beauty of Hangeul. Individuals are able to make up to 3 entries and a total of 5 winners will be selected to receive a framed postcard with his/her name hand-written in Korean on it as well as goodies from Korea.

<Calligraphy Contest: Youth and Adults Only>
Anyone in Year 7 and above and residing in Australia is invited to participate in the calligraphy contest. Simply write your favourite K-Pop lyrics in Korean and decorate it. Individuals are able to make up to 5 entries and 10 winners will be selected to receive a framed postcard with his/her name hand-written in Korean as well as goodies from Korea.
