18th Warsaw Cross Culture Festival: Invited Performance by Gyeonggi Sinawi Orchestra
<Dynamic Sound of Changes>



The Korean Cultural Center in Poland is co-hosting the <Gyeonggi Sinawi Orchestra Invitation Performance> with the ‘Warsaw Cross Culture Festival’, the largest world music festival in Central Europe.

◆Gyeonggi Sinawi Orchestra

The most Korean orchestra that showcases the infinite possibilities of our music through various trials and experiments.

Declaring a new Korean orchestra expressing the spirit of 'Sinawi', Gyeonggi Sinawi Orchestra, which changed its name from Gyeonggi Provincial Orchestra to Gyeonggi Sinawi Orchestra in 2020, is making bold and innovative attempts to break free from stereotypes, representing Gyeonggi It is leading the popularization and globalization of Korean traditional music through creative attempts to fuse our traditional and original music with various contemporary art genres.




◆Dynamic Sound of Changes

The Gyeonggi Sinawi Orchestra Europe tour program consists of the first part <Korean Beauty> and the second part <Dynamic Korea> with the hope that you will open your heart and sink deeply into the various sounds and sounds of Korea.

Part 1 is a song where you can feel Korean lyricism and natural beauty through Korean melodies. The second part is the work of artistic director Won Il, and it was world premiered at the 2022 Tongyeong International Music Festival (3.30.2022.~3.31.). This work contains the composer's homage to the artist Nam June Paik, the founder of video art.
