Korean Cultural Center Indonesia (Director Kim Yong Woon) in collaboration with the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) Jakarta and the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) Jakarta Business Center promotes Korean culture, tourism, and content at the commemoration of Korean National Day organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Indonesia on 4 October.
This event was held to simultaneously promote Korean culture, tourism, and content to invited guests consisting of diplomats, representatives of the Indonesian government, as well as cultural and artistic circles who attended the commemoration of Korea's National Day.
At the venue, KCCI exhibited miniatures of Sarangbang/사랑방 (a room in a traditional Korean house used for men's activities) and Anbang/안방 (a room in a traditional Korean house used for the activities of a house owner's wife), each packaged in a cultural box. KCCI also opened a Hanbok promotion and experience booth as well as a photo zone with a Korean autumn theme which garnered much attention from invited guests. In addition, there is also a booth to introduce Hallyu, such as Korean tourist attractions, K-pop, animated content, Korean movies, and others which also received a good response.
