Consul General Euy Whan Kim celebrated the New Year at an inauguration ceremony hosted by the Korean American Business Council of New York and congratulated the Business Council’s incoming president on January 11. Over 100 Korean small business owners joined the celebration. 

They represent 12 local Korean business associations of the Business Council, including the New York Korean Produce Association, Korean Seafood Association of New York, Korean American Nail Salon Association of New York, Korean American Grocers Association of New York, Korean American Real Estate Brokers Association, and New York Association of Korean American Businessmen. Several key elected officials of the state, State Senator John Liu, Assemblyman Ron Kim, and Assemblyman Edward Braunstein, also attended the ceremony.
