On January 26, Consul General Euy Whan Kim attended the Korea Society’s Annual Membership Party to ring in the new year with TKS members and supporters, including NJ Assemblywoman Ellen J. Park. 

In his congratulatory remarks, Consul General Kim noted the longstanding partnership with the Society while reaffirming his commitment to supporting the Korean community. “When we invest in the Korean community, we are investing in our future,” he said as he outlined various projects this year that can elevate the relationship with the Korea Society. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the Korea-US alliance and the 120th year since the first group of Korean immigrants arrived in the United States.
