Consul General Euy Whan Kim visited NYPD precincts in Queens and met with commanding officers of the 111th (Bayside) Precinct on February 9 and the 109th (Flushing) Precinct on February 10. Following his meeting with Fort Lee’s Chief of Police on January 26 and in light of the recent series of mass shootings across the country, Consul General Kim met with the local NYPD precincts to convey the Korean community’s public safety concerns and to discuss establishing streamlined communication lines.
