1. Topic (Choose 1 from the following 2 topics):

1）내가 보는 한국, 한국인이 보는 한국

2）가보고 싶은 대한민국의 도시와 소개하고 싶은 나의 도시

2. Eligibility

- Aged 18 or above

- Contestant and parents are non-Korean

- Hong Kong residents who have never lived in Korea for more than 2 years

3. Schedule

• -Application Period: from now on – May 28 (SUN)

• -Announcement of applicants successfully admitted to the Grand Final: on or before June 2 (FRI) *KCC will contact shortlisted applicants by email/ phone

• -Grand Final: June 10 (SAT) / The Hong Kong Polytechnic University

4. Application Method

2. Recording file of speech (3-4 mins; MP3/ MP4/ M4A file)

3. Script in Korean

5. Prizes

- Grand Prize: Certificate, Cash prize HKD 5,000, *eligibility to participate in ‘Korean speech contest’and Korean cultural training program held in Korea organized by King Sejong Institute Foundation (2023 early OCT)

- First Place: Certificate, Cash prize HKD 3,000, Hong Kong-Korea round trip ticket*1

- Second Place: Certificate, Cash prize HKD 2,000, Hong Kong-Korea round trip ticket*1

- Third Place: Certificate, Cash prize HKD 1,000, Hong Kong-Korea round trip ticket*1

6. Terms and Conditions

- Applicants ensure that the information provided is true when submitting the application form.​

- Applicants’ personal information will be used solely for the purposes of the competition unless otherwise agreed in advance with the applicant.

- The Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong reserves the right to change the content and prizes of the competition at any time. In the case of any disputes, the Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong reserves the right of final decision.
