Cinema Niche is a film based community in Hungary which focuses screenings of contemporary films not shown on the big screen and a selection of films playing in cinemas. Cinema Niche presents a special screening where the viewers will have the chance to ‘meet’ South Korean Hong Sang-soo, one of the world's most prolific directors, with several of his films debuting at Europe's most important festivals every year. His films 'The Day He Arrives' (북촌방향) and 'The Woman Who Ran'  (도망친 여자) will be screened consecutively with a short break, on 9 and 25 June in Budapest, and on 16 June in the Apollo Cinema in Pécs.

The event is supported by the Korean Cultural Center in Hungary.
