Over 50,000 people have already visited the Korean Cultural Center in Brazil (CCCB), in the capital city of São Paulo, to see the "Lights of Korea - Jinju City Exhibition". Open to the public since June 18th, the exhibition showcases the importance of lanterns in South Korean culture to the Brazilian population.

"On an international scale, this lantern exhibition is happening for the second time in Brazil, in addition to another one in Washington, United States. We are very happy to present it again here," says Cheulhong Kim, the director of CCCB, who highlighted the partnership with the city of Jinju to organize the exhibition.

Jinju is known for its Lantern Festival. "The city is famous for its vibrant celebrations, where lanterns light up the streets, creating a spectacle of colors and enchantment," emphasizes the director. "And the Brazilian audience is experiencing this festival in a completely Instagrammable environment," he adds.

With free admission, the exhibition will be on display until August 20th and can be visited from Monday to Friday, from 10 am to 7 pm, on Saturdays from 10 am to 6:30 pm, and on Sundays from 11 am to 4 pm. The Korean Cultural Center building in Brazil is located at Avenida Paulista, number 460.
