🔜 JONGMYO JERYEAK ALREADY IN SEPTEMBER AT THE NATIONAL PHILHARMONIC❗.

🇰🇷 September in Warsaw will again be marked by Korean culture, and we have great news for all its lovers! 🇰🇷 Polish audiences will have the opportunity to see the unique musical and dance show "Jongmyo Jeryeak" on September 25 at the National Philharmonic in Warsaw 🎼

✅Jongmyo Jeryeak is a ritual performance consisting of dance (ilmu) 💃, singing (akjang) 🎤 and music performed on traditional Korean instruments during a royal ceremony to honor ancestors 🎶 The ceremony was held on the graves of rulers (jongmyo) in the Joseon Dynasty, and is now presented once a year, on the first Sunday of May 📆 Its honorary participants are the heirs of the Joseon royal family. Jongmyo Jereak is also a UNESCO-listed intangible Korean cultural heritage 🎖.

More than 20 songs are performed during Jongmyo jeryeak:
1⃣ the first 11 songs glorify the contributions of Korean ancestors in the humanistic and ethical fields
2⃣ the next 11 songs glorify their military achievements
