Korea Week 2023 / Lotus Lantern Production Workshop [K-Art]

Korea Week 2023 gave the public an opportunity to produce traditional Korean Lotus Lanterns with their own hands!

On November 10th and 11th, two workshops were organized by the Korean Cultural Center in Italy and Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism. In those workshops the participants produced with their own hands lotus lanterns, reflecting once again on the meaning of these lanterns.

The light of the lanterns symbolizes love and wisdom that illuminate the darkness caused by man's greed and stubbornness.
