On Dec. 19, 2023, the Korean Cultural Center held a Korean culture and language graduation ceremony for tour guides for the year 2023.
Korean language course for tour guides Started in 2014 and now has over 800 students.
Mr. Cho Jae-il, the Director of the Korean Cultural Center, Mr. Jaturon Phakdeewanich, DOT Director-General, Mr. Kang Jun, President of the Tourism Promotion Association of South Korea-Thailand, Dr. Suwat Suwandee, Vice President of Administrative Affairs at Kasem Bundit University join in congratulations.
The event began with a Gilnori performance by Samullori course students, a Gayageum performance to the song 'Holo Arirang’ and Christmas carols by students of the Gayageum class and a Jindo Drum Dance performance by Jindo Drum Dance class students along with the rhythm of instructor Jeon Minji's Janggu drums. The entire performance received a lot of applause.
Followed by teaching how to make kimchi from Ms.Yoon Daesuk, the owner of Myeongga, Korean restaurant.
Congratulations to 27 students who graduated from the Korean Culture classes and 30 students who graduated from the Korean Language course for Tourism industry workers.
From the increasing number of tourists visiting Korea and Thailand. Korean Cultural Center hopes these courses will help all graduates pursue careers in tourism and be successful in the future.
