On August 17, 2023, Consul General Euy Whan Kim hosted a luncheon meeting at his residence for the Consuls General of the G7+ countries, including Germany, the United Kingdom, Japan, Canada, France, and Australia.

This meeting was organized following President Yoon Suk Yeol's invitation to the G7 summit in Hiroshima, Japan, on May 19-21, 2023, which elevated Korea's role and stature on the global stage. It provided an opportunity for Consul General Kim to share Korea's vision and efforts as a global pivotal nation with his counterparts from the G7+ countries in New York and to explore potential cooperation initiatives at the consulate level.
