On September 6, 2023, Consul General Euy Whan Kim met with Professor Sven Horak from the Business School of St. John's University and Priya Nayar, Executive Director of UA Ruhr. Professor Horak, originally from Germany, has researched Korea extensively, drawing on his five-year experience working with the BOSCH Korea branch. He has served as a visiting scholar at Seoul National University, Korea University, and Yonsei University.

A seminar on the importance of informal networks in international business is scheduled for November 9, hosted by the University Alliance Ruhr (UA Ruhr) and supported by the German Consulate General. Consul General Kim will deliver the keynote address, and Professor Horak, along with other international business experts, will participate as panelists.
