Korean Cultural Center in Turkiye invited the leading figure of Heartism, the artist Yang Si-young, to hold an exhibition at 5 p.m. on March 5th (Tuesday). The exhibition will run until March 18th. During his travels in Turkiye, Yang Si-young interpreted Turkiye from his own perspective and presented a total of 20 painting works, including three pieces depicting Turkiye, at the exhibition.
The attendees at the opening ceremony were full of praise for Yang Si-young's artwork. Professor Mutlu, the head of the Department of Ceramics at Hacettepe University, commented, "Yang Si-young's artwork is as intricate and delicate as strokes from master artists. It's truly astonishing to see such talent at a young age."
Ambassador Jung Yeon-doo stated in his opening remarks, "The remarkable growth and excellence of Yang Si-young as an artist have been made possible by the love and dedication of his mother. It is truly special and heartwarming that we can enjoy Yang's exhibition here in Ankara, Turkey. During my stay in Turkey, I will also endeavor to strengthen the cultural and artistic exchange between Korea and Turkey through efforts in the field of culture and arts."
