On March 8-10, 2024, the Korean Cultural Center and the Korea Tourism Organization held the event 'YES! Korea Travel in Bangkok' as a part of the celebration of the Korea-Thailand Year of Mutual Visit 2023-2024 at Central World, Bangkok.
More than 35 local administrative organizations and tourism agencies in Korea and Thailand participated in the event to organize various activities to promote Korea travel. There were more than 50,000 locals and foreign tourists participating in the event.
On March 10, His Excellency Mr. Park Yong-min, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea attended the event " Korea Travel Talk Show with the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Thailand" to introduce the various charms of Korean tourist attractions such as Daegu and Busan.
H.E. Mr. Park Yong-min said that tourist exchange is an important aspect of friendship between the two countries and stressed the importance of international visits. He also played the guitar and sang Lee Moon Sae's "Bluebird" as a surprise gift for attendees.
Korean actor Lee Je-hoon and Thai artist 'Bamm' also attended that day's event and brighten up the atmosphere.
The Korean Cultural Center in Thailand hopes that the two countries will have more tourist exchanges in the future, as much as two countries’ relationships.
