On November 21, 2023, the Foreign Policy Association, in partnership with the Consul General of New York, hosted a forum inviting financial and economic experts from Wall Street. The discussion focused on strengthening Korea-US financial and economic cooperation in light of various emerging issues.

Participants included Park Munkyu, Deputy Consul General for Economic and Finance Affairs; Kenneth Buckfire, President of Miller Buckfire; Thomas Byrne, President of the Korea Society (former Vice Chairman at Moody's); and Noel Lateef, President of the Foreign Policy Association (former President of Bowery Savings Bank). Approximately 90 attendees from the local Wall Street financial and economic community, along with representatives of Korean financial institutions in New York, joined the event both in-person and online.
