Last Thursday marked the end of our 'Women on Screen' film circle. We wrapped up with July Jung's 2023 drama 'Next Sohee', which starred Bae Doona and Kim Sieun. 

Throughout the course of the film circle, we delved into over six decades of Korean cinema. Together, we gained a better understanding of the lives of six remarkable Korean actresses and how their work has influenced society's perception of women through film. 

The post-film group discussions were always thought-provoking, and we would like to extend our gratitude to all the participants for sharing their insights and interpretations over the past twelve weeks.
