Events at KCCs abroad

[UNESCO Korean Heritage Month] AFTERNOON WITH POLISH-KOREAN UNESCO HERITAGE
On Tuesday, May 14 this year. The ceremonial opening of the festival took place in the Column Hall of the University of Warsaw. "UNESCO Korean Heritage Months", started with an event titled "Afternoon with Korean-Polish UNESCO heritage." The Korean Culture Months Celebration aims to bring the beauty and depth of the country's culture closer to the Polish audience through a series of events, meetings and presentations in May and June.


During the event, you could hear presentations and speeches given by people such as: a specialist in the anthropology of music - prof. Marzanna Popławska, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea - Mr. Hoonmin Lim, Director of the Department of Strategy and Monument Protection at the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland - Mrs. Agata Kurdziel, Dean of the Faculty of Culture and Art of the University of Warsaw - prof. Małgorzata Karpińska, Director of the Korean Cultural Center - Mr. Dangkweon Lee, Dr. Katarzyna Zalasińska from the National Institute of Cultural Heritage and, in place of Dr. Paweł Pietrzyk - Dr. Anna Krochmal from the Polish State Archives.
The event ended with a show of the traditional Polish dance Polonaise and a show of traditional Korean Pansori.
