Organized by the Korean Cultural Center in Brazil, the "13th Korean Film Festival - All About Korean Cinema" will be held at the Sao Paulo Cultural Center (CCSP) from July 21 to 28. There will also be screenings at the Museum of Image and Soung (MIS) on July 23 and 24.
The festival will showcase 10 feature films and 9 shorts films. Directed by young South Korean filmmakers, the selected works are premieres in Brazil and address societal changes and themes such as peace, human rights, and the environment.
As part of the program, South Korean directors Chung Ji-young and Yook Sang-hyo, along with critic Oh Dong-jin will participate in open discussions with the public, sharing insights on the current state of South Korean productions, which have been gaining increasing success worldwide.
All screenings will be free of charge, and visitors can obtain tickets at the institutions' box offices one hour before each session.
