Events at KCCs abroad

The Korean Cultural Center Turkiye successfully hosted a Korean Culture Day event in the Korean-Turkish Friendship Village in Hatay as part of a social contribution effort. The event commemorated the 74th anniversary of the Korean War and aimed to express gratitude to 1,000 displaced persons through Korean culture.





On June 25th, to mark the 74th anniversary of the Korean War, the Korean Culture Day event was held in the Korean-Turkish Friendship Village in Hatay. This event was part of a broader social contribution activity and concluded successfully.


The event, jointly organized with the Hatay Provincial Office and the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority, was attended by over 1,000 earthquake victims. The Korean Cultural Center presented traditional Korean performances, such as the fan dance and K-pop dance shows, while also providing an opportunity to experience Korean cuisine, including Royal Tteokbokki with bulgogi and chicken popcorn.







Elif Gaye Dincel, who participated in the event, shared her thoughts: "The fan dance performance, a traditional Korean dance, was incredibly beautiful, and the texture of the tteok in the bulgogi was very unique and enjoyable. This event gave me an opportunity to learn more about Korea."
