The Korean Cultural Center in Los Angeles held the ‘2024 K-POP Dance & Vocal Academy in Salt Lake City’ at the University of Utah for a week from August 26.

This event was held in collaboration with the Utah-based K-POP dance group ‘AfterDark’, the winner of this year’s K-POP Cover Dance Festival US Finals. Participants got dance and vocal training from professional instructors with diverse stage experience and directing know-how, and on the last day, they had time to present the dances and songs they had learned.

Director Sang-won Jeong said, “Thanks to the support of passionate Utah K-POP fans, we are delighted to be holding the K-POP Academy in Salt Lake City again after two years. The participants’ skills have improved even further, and this academy allowed us to teach even difficult K-POP dances.”
