The Korean Cultural Centre and the CJ Cultural Foundation are thrilled to co-present "STORY UP Shorts in CANADA" on Friday, August 30 at 7 PM at the Korean Cultural Centre.
"STORY UP Shorts in CANADA" showcases films by aspiring young Korean directors who dream of making an impact on world cinema, following in the footsteps of BONG Joon-Ho and PARK Chan-Wook. Through the screening of three award-winning films, viewers will have the opportunity to delve into the unique perspectives of these emerging directors and connect with their compelling stories.
The program will feature <Light It Up at 2 AM>(2022, YOO Jong-Seok), <Slaughter>(2023, YUN Do-Yeong), and <Forest of Echoes>(2023, LIM Yoo-Ri). A Directors Talk with LIM Yoo-Ri will follow the screenings, offering attendees the chance to gain insights directly from one of the filmmakers.
