On October 9, 2024 (Wednesday), the 34th Akbank Jazz Festival featured the performance "K-Jazz: Sound Quartet" at the SES 1885 Hall of the Ortaoyuncular Theater in Istanbul.

The "Sound Quartet," featuring vocalist Jeon Song-gi, Daegeum player Kim Hye-rim, pianist Lee Ji-hye, and drummer Hong Sun-mi, showcased original compositions as well as various pieces infused with Korean sentiment, including Jeongseon Arirang and Seomjip Agi. The performance received a warm response from the audience, filling the venue. The event was also honored by the presence of Lee Woo-sung, the Consul General of South Korea, Jeon Seungcheol, the Director of the Korean Cultural Center, members of the diplomatic corps, and Korean War veterans.
