Events at KCCs abroad

In 1970s Korea, opposition party politician Kim Woon-bum seeks to run for president, but after losing six local elections in a row, his chances are slim to none. This is where Seo Chang-dae comes in. An ambitious election strategist, Seo lays out an aggressive – even bordering on dishonest – approach that wins Kim much-needed support, but the two men clash over the ethics of their methods. A fictional take on a miraculous campaign that nearly succeeded in ending Park Chung-hee’s controversial regime, Byun Sung-hyun’s ambitious and wildly entertaining political drama takes lessons from history to create an important cautionary tale about the present.
