Events at KCCs abroad

On September 26, 2024, Consul General Euy Whan Kim attended the "2024 Conference on Logistics and Supply Chain Cooperation between Korea and U.S." held at the School of Business at New Jersey City University. In his welcoming remarks, he emphasized the importance of the logistics industry and the close cooperation between the two countries in the supply chain sector.


Co-hosted by New Jersey City University and the Korea Maritime Institute, the event was attended by prominent figures from New Jersey's state government and legislature, including New Jersey State Assemblywoman Ellen Park, Wes Mathews, President of Choose NJ, Tim Sullivan, Chief Executive Officer of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA), and Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop.


Industry and academic experts from both countries, including representatives from HMM, the Korea Maritime Institute, and NJCU, gathered at the conference to address global supply chain risks and discuss cooperative solutions in the logistics sector.
