Events at KCCs abroad

On September 26, Consul General Euy Whan Kim met with Korean students and students studying Korean studies at Yale University's Betts House. The conversation focused on the economic development of Korea and the advancement of Korea-U.S. relations. The event was organized by Jieun Pyun, Asia Director at Yale's Office of International Affairs (OIA). Consul General Kim emphasized the importance of the Korea-U.S. relationship and encouraged the students to grow into leaders in America and serve as a bridge between the two countries.

Later that evening, Consul General Kim delivered a lecture at the Korean Community Center of Connecticut to an audience of about 30 community members. The lecture centered on the Korea-U.S. relationship and the future direction of the Korean community. Following the lecture, a meeting was held with the Korean American Association of Connecticut to discuss current issues facing the Korean community and possible support from the Consulate General.
