Events at KCCs abroad


LG Electronics joined other top Korean firms to celebrate Korean National Day in Abuja, fostering
cultural and technological exchanges between Korea and Nigeria.
Hosted by South Korean Embassy, the event brought together government officials, diplomats, and
leaders from industries to mark the relationship between the two nations.
LG showcased its latest home solutions, including the InstaView Refrigerator and OLED TV, which
highlight Korea’s dedication to sustainable, user-focused innovation.
The interactive exhibits allowed guests to experience firsthand the energy efficiency and advanced
technology of products, such as the WashTower and Air Conditioner.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Moses Osime, Public Relations manager of LG Electronics Nigeria, said:
“We’re honoured to celebrate Korean culture and technology with our friends. LG is committed to
enhancing lives and building strong ties in our communities.”
The celebration highlighted Korea’s increasing cultural influence in Nigeria, with a strong reception of
Korean music, cuisine, and sports.
Ambassador Kim Pan-kyu noted that Nigerian interest in K-pop, K-dramas, and Taekwondo signifies the
potential for deeper cultural and economic collaboration.
