On December 13, the Korean Cultural Center in Thailand held a graduation ceremony for the Korean traditional culture class.
This event started with a class video of the Gayageum, Modeumbuk, Samulnori, Buchaechum, and Minhwa classes' students.
And then Ms. Sunju Lee, Director of Korean Cultural Center in Thailand gave certificates to all students.
Following the awarding of certificates, Students from each class presented a performance they had practiced.
The Samulnori class performed Jajinmori and Byeoldalgeori rhythm, the Gayaguem class performed Korean and Thai folk songs.
The Modeumbuk class performed 'Beautiful Country', and the Buchaechum class performed Gutgeori and Jajinmori rhythm.
The Minhwa class students exhibited their artwork on the 2nd floor of the center.
Ms. Sunju Lee, Director of the Korean Cultural Center, thanked all teachers for teaching the korean culture classes for a year and asked the students to become strong supporters of the Korea-Thailand relanship with their continued love for Korean culture.
Finally, there was a korean traditional percussion and yeonhee performance by the Art Company Shinheung.
Afterwards, the students ate Korean food like jeon and makgeolli to celebrate graduation.
The Korean Cultural Center in Thailand will continue to do its best to ensure that all Thai people interested in Korea can learn about and enjoy diverse Korean culture.
