The Galleries Association of Korea is pleased to present the Korean Art Show at ArtHamptons, ith the support of the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism. Korean Art Show 2014 will be presenting a group of 15 galleries and upwards of 80 artists as part of the Korean Showcase this year, the scale and promotion of which will create a synergy effect for both Arthamptons and Korean Art Show. The Korean Art Show will be joining more than 80 other exhibitors from an international array of over 10 other countries. Located on the pastoral Sculpture Fields at Nova’s Ark, the showcase’s collection of Korean artists will find a lush backdrop in the hamlet of Bridgehampton.

The Korean Art Show showcase intends to inspire a cultural dialogue, mutually introducing emerging contemporary Korean art and artists to the established community of art patrons in New York. Riding on the heels of the Korean Wave, the term coined for the increased popularity and spread of the Korean culture on a global scale, the showcase will be expanding upon this phenomenon by displaying a highlight of Korean contemporary work.
