The Korean Cultural Center, Los Angeles presents, "My friends from the FairyTales". This event will include storytelling and a puppet show of a very famous Korean fairytale called, "Kong Ji Pat Ji" which is very similar to the story of Cinderella. These Puppeteers are from Korea and will be performing with dolls made from Hanji (Korean Traditional Paper). There will be craft workshops to create your very own Hanji doll and the children are sure to have a good time. Lastly, a very renowned Instructor of Hanji crafts from Korea, Instructor Hwa Sook Sim who is president of the Traditional Korea Paper Artists Association, will introduce the history of hanji and show the creation process of hanji dolls.
