SEOP Dance Company of Korea presents A Man’s Requiem

The SEOP Dance Company produces dazzling choreographic works which combine Korean tradition with contemporary vision to create a stunning display of sound, color, and movement. A Man’s Requiem directed by Yong Chul Kim, premiered at the World Festival of National Theaters in South Korea and has successfully toured nine countries. This visually-stunning theatrical dance work explores themes of sin, karmic actions, and judgment after death based on the current Korean Christian/Buddhist influenced beliefs. This special evening begins with a prelude performance featuring live, historical music, followed by the 70-minute main piece after a short intermission.
