2015 Lunar New Year Celebration
The Los Angeles King Sejong Institute held its annual Korean New Year festival for yet another year at the Korean Cultural Center in Los Angeles (KCCLA) on Tuesday, February 17. As the biggest non-university Korean language program in the United States, the event was attended by over 250 students, guests, local Korean-language media and even local law enforcement. As usual, the evening featured a traditional Korean "Seollal" dinner, games and prizes. The special guest performer this year was Grand Master Gwangsu Lee, one of the founders of contemporary Samulnori, performing 'Arirang' and even 'Gangnam Style'.
