Presented by Kim Dongsuk Korean Classical Music and Dance Company, 'Traditional Court Music & Dance' will be held on Friday, July 22nd 7:30pm at the Korean Cultural Center, Los Angeles on the 3rd floor in the Ari Hall.
This performance is presented as a part of the Korean Cultural Center’s 2016 ARI PROJECT Season 3: Performing arts series, which features a rich program of various performing arts programs including Korean traditional music and world music, as well as contemporary dance and theater.

About Dongsuk Kim
DongSuk Kim is the founder and director of the Korean Classical Music and Dance Company, and president of the Korean-American Culture and Arts Association. He and his groups have performed at prestigious venues such as the New York Metropolitan Opera House, the Los Angeles Music Center, the White House, the Orange County Performing Arts Center, the Hollywood Bowl, the 1984 Olympic Arts Festival, and the 1988 Seoul Olympic Arts Center.
About Gugak National High School
Gugak National High School has carried on the grand tradition of educational institutions specializing in Korean traditional music, such as the Eumseongseo of the Silla Kingdom, the Aakseo of the Goryeo Dynasty, and the Jangakwon and Aakbuwon Training Center of the Joseon Dynasty. On April 1, 1955, Korea’s first six-year middle and high school course at the Training Center for Performers of Korean Traditional Music was founded, in an affiliation with the National Center for Korean Traditional Performing Arts, and in 1972 it was elevated to Gugak National High School.
