Korean Documentary Screening(“Breathing Underwater”) and Talk with Director

“Breathing Underwater (2016)”, a Korean documentary film on women divers in Jeju Island of the Republic of Korea, was screened at Stockholm University(4 pm) and Filmhuset(6 pm) on March 1. “Talk with Director” was followed by each screening, where Director Hee Young Ko, along with Photographer Hyung Sun Kim and Curator Min Jeong Ko shared with the audience interesting stories about the film and the culture of Jeju Haenyeo(women divers of Jeju Island) which was inscribed by UNESCO on its Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2016.
