Events at KCCs abroad

The 37th annual Korean Festival in Los Angeles was from September 30 to October 3 at Seoul International Park.

Highlight of the Korean Festival, Korean Parade along Olympic Boulevard was on Saturday, October 2. Since the theme of this year's festival was the "melting pot of cultural diversity," many different communities were invited. There were marching bands from different high schools, the South Korean national taekwondo team broke plywood, a judo club and a wushu group had exhibitions, the Salvadoran community was represented, and Wilshire Private School had a contingent.

There were also many other things to enjoy at this year's festival. Winter Olympics Gold Medalist Kim Yuna was on the opening ceremony. Tal Taekondo performance and JYP Entertainment's youth talent audition were also presented.
