Introduction of Korea's History and Technology Industry


The Korean Culture Center in Italy hosted a visiting program for 25 students of Pacinotti Archimede Technical Information High School. Fiorella Fiore, a teacher at the Technical Information High School who wanted introducing the Korean Webtoon to her students after seeing the Webtoon exhibition at the Korean Culture Center, took a class visit to the Center. The visit program, held on November 6, included Korea's history, Korea's technology industry, webtoon industry, webtoon experience, Korean food introduction, and Korean game experience.


Webtoon Drawing Experience


The technical information high school that visited the institute was a video game specialized high school, so it showed a great interest in the webtoon industry in Korea. Students listened to the history of the Korean webtoon industry and the current state of the world's webtoon industry, and then took the time to draw a webtoon directly through the artist's tablet PC and experience the webtoon graphic program.


Introduction to Hansik and Korean Cuisine Class


Afterwards, he went to the Korean food class, listened to the Korean food culture, explained Korean food, talked about Korean “Mukbang” content, which is famous in Italy, and spent time discussing the current use of various cultural contents in Korea.


Korea Traditional game Experience


At the end of the visit program, students experienced the Korean traditional play culture in a multipurpose hall. Lorenzo Ricardi, who received the highest score in the Jegichagi and received a certain commemorative product of Korean traditional architecture, said, "I learned that Korea is a cultural powerhouse with diverse materials that can be used as cultural contents''.
