It was glitz and glamour at the premiere of the 2019 Korean Film Festival which took place on December 5, 2019 at Silverbird Cinemas, Abuja. Korean movie enthusiasts poured out en masse to grace the occasion as it also coincided with 100th year anniversary of Korean film industry. The first 200 Guests received free pop corn and drinks. People excitedly took photos at the well decorated photo zone to participate in an online competition.

The presence of notable Nollywood actors like Kenneth Okonkwo, Bruno Iwuoha and Mr. Onwurah Ifeanyi Agility (Chairman FCT Chapter of the Actors Guild of Nigeria) was greeted with excitement from guests present.

The Korean movie ‘Merry Christmas Mr. Mo’, a comedy about Countryside hairdresser Mo Geum-san always wanted to be an actor. He goes to the public health center and is told to go to a bigger hospital. The intense medical advice makes him doubt his boring existence. The coming Christmas, he makes a small plan for those he cares for: get people to the district cultural center and screen a comedy about his dramatic life.
