PPE Donation Ceremony for Korean War Veterans

Marking the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of the Korean War, Consul General Won-sam Chang participated in a donation ceremony, delivering personal protective equipment (PPE) to the Veterans Nursing Hospital affiliated with Stony Brook University in Long Islandon Friday, June 26. At the event, the Korean-American Association of Greater New York (KAAGNY) delivered 700 medical protective suits on behalf of the Naeil Foundation, who made the donation to Korean War veterans. Moreover, the National Unification Advisory Council, New York Chapter donated 500 face masks to the Veterans Nursing Hospital. Also, KAAGNY delivered a plaque of appreciation to Mr. Salvatore Scarlato, the president of the Korean War Veterans Association in NewYork.
