The Yeowoorak Festival, the country's premier showcase for gugak (traditional music), will run from July 4-26 at the theaters Daloreum and Haneul of the National Theater of Korea in Seoul's Jung-gu District. Under the theme "Rediscovery of Folk Songs," this year's edition uses the concepts of guardians, wizards and alchemists in 12 performances across 16 shows with a festival-record 200 artists.
