NDR Sinfonieorchester Hamburg will perform on Tuesday, May 26, at Seoul Arts Center, and on Wednesday, May 27, at Daegu Citizen Hall. The orchestra, founded in 1945, has its own concert series in Hamburg. Thomas Hengelbrock has been the principal conductor of the NDR Symphony Orchestra since 2011. Its tours through Germany, Europe and Japan as well as concerts as part of the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, have been well received. The orchestra will perform Mendelssohn Violin Concerto and Mahler Symphony No. 1.
