Every January, the snow covered sides of Hallasan Mountain provide fantastic scenery for visitors. A shuttle bus will now begin from 1100 Rd. to accommodate residents and tourists travelling up Hallasan Mountain. Jeju Tourism Organization will operate a non-stop shuttle bus from the Jeju Welcome Center to Hallasan Eorimok between 7:30 and 15:00 every Sat & Sun, from Jan 1st to Feb 6th of 2011. The bus operates 16 times daily (every 30 minutes) and takes 40 minutes each way. Jeju Tourism Organization will also provide a number of other amenities and services for tourists including free tea service for those returning to the Jeju Welcome Center after touring Hallasan Mountain.
