DPM Hong Calls High-ranking Official Meeting after North’s Demolition of Joint Liaison Office


Deputy Prime Minister Hong Nam-ki called a high-ranking official meeting on June 16 at 4:30 pm after North’s demolition of the joint liaison office in Gaesong. The deputy prime minister expressed his concerns over its possible impact on Korea’s economy and financial markets, adding that the Ministry of Economy and Finance will be ready to respond to any impact on the economy and market, closely monitoring domestic and global financial markets.
