Emergency Meeting on the Itaewon Incident 

Government Vows to Provide Support to Handle Aftermath of Itaewon Incident

Deputy Prime Minister Kyungho CHOO presided over an emergency meeting with senior officials of the Ministry of Economy and Finance on October 30 in Seoul to discuss follow-up measures to deal with the aftermath of the Itaewon incident.

In the meeting, DPM CHOO vowed to swiftly provide financial and administrative support needed to handle the aftermath of the Incident and ensure relief for victims by closely cooperating with related government ministries including the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and the Ministry of Health and Welfare as well as the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters.
