The ROK Expands Agricultural Exports through Indonesia’s Largest Trade Fair
Sejong, 31 July 2025 — The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs of the Republic of Korea (MAFRA) opened a Korean promotional area composed of booths in INAGRITECH 2025, the Republic of Indonesia’s largest international trade fair for agricultural solutions, which was held from 29 July to 31 July. At the Korean promotional area, 18 Korean companies showcased their agricultural inputs such as agricultural machinery, fertilizers, and agricultural pesticides to international buyers.
Approximately 450 companies from 25 countries from around the world participated in the international agricultural trade show and presented a wide range of cutting-edge agricultural technologies and products. In 2024, 12 Korean companies of producing agricultural inputs participated in the trade show and had 151 buyer-seller business meetings.
Indonesia’s market for agricultural inputs is growing fast, with a market segment for fertilizers and agricultural pesticides expected to grow by an annual average of 4% to 6%. Also, Indonesia’s agricultural mechanization policy is driving up the demand for agricultural machinery and equipment. Thus, the Indonesian market is attracting the interest of Korean companies.
The MAFRA provided full support for Korean agricultural input manufacturers to ensure that their participation in the international trade fair could lead to expansion of their exports to Indonesia. For instance, an expert lecture was provided for Korean companies to help them understand the Indonesian market. The MAFRA also distributed promotional materials about Korean agricultural inputs to the site of the trade fair, and provided opportunities for Korean companies to have one-on-one business meetings with overseas buyers.
