1. The Government of the Republic of Korea strongly condemns the terrorist attack on Burhanuddin Rabbani, former President of Afghanistan and head of the High Peace Council, that occurred in Kabul, Afghanistan, on September 20, and extends its deepest condolences and consolation to his family and all the people of Afghanistan.

2. The Government of the Republic of Korea denounces terrorist acts as crimes against civilization and humanity that cannot be justified on any grounds, and will take an active part in the efforts of the Afghan government and the international community toward the peace and stability in the country.
