The Financial Services Commission announced that the 2025 Korea Fintech Week is scheduled to be held for three days from November 26 to 28 at aT Center in Seoul.

The Korea Fintech Week is the largest fintech exhibition event organized by Korea offering a venue for sharing the latest fintech innovation trends on artificial intelligence (AI) and so on and providing chances to promote and attract investment. This year’s Korea Fintech Week will be held under the theme of “Fintech x AI: The Personalization of Finance,” which will help to set a stage to make this event as a truly global fintech exhibition.

The seventh annual global fintech expo this year, organized in partnership with a group of related institutions and organizations, is expected to breathe in vitality to the fintech industry and speed up financial innovation.

With the rapid spread of AI-based digital financial services recently, cooperation and exchange among various stakeholders have become ever more important in the fintech ecosystem. In this regard, this year’s Korea Fintech Week will feature an expanded scale of global fintech company booths and invite more foreign speakers to promote the sharing of global fintech insights and help to broaden the horizon for domestic fintech companies.

With the participation of fintech and AI experts from at home and abroad, this year’s Korea Fintech Week will introduce the latest fintech innovation trends and facilitate discussions to seek opportunities for cooperation and development of the fintech industry beyond borders.

At exhibition halls, there will be country-specific fintech pavilions showcasing unique fintech services and innovation of major countries and offering chances to boost cooperation and exchanges with global fintech companies. In particular, this year’s Korea Fintech Week will encourage participation from global fintech unicorns to gain better insights into the future of the global fintech industry and help to make the Korea Fintech Week into a truly global hub for fintech networking.

To better support the exchanges among fintech industry officials, mobile business matching platform will open early this year in September. This will help to facilitate the networking among institutions, businesses, startups, and investors ahead of the opening of the expo. The mobile matching service will be upgraded this year to allow users to check the information about participating entities ahead of time, which is also expected to facilitate follow-up cooperation and investment thereafter.

Visa Korea, IBM Korea, and BC Card will newly join in seminar sessions this year to offer presentations on diverse topics, such as the trend of global payments systems, future of fintech with the rise of AI and quantum computing, and overseas expansion of financial infrastructure.

In addition, there will be a newly introduced program (“tech-finder” VC investment festival) organized through collaboration of the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) and the Korea Fintech Industry Association (KORFIN), providing chances of networking for promising fintech businesses and venture capital investors. By making use of each institution’s networking pool, this program is expected to create greater synergetic effect.
