The Korean Culture and Information Service (KOCIS), an affiliate of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, on Dec. 16 at 6 p.m. Korean Standard Time holds this year's K-healing On Festival.
This event is a platform allowing Hallyu (Korean Wave) content creators worldwide to communicate with one another, as well as promoting and motivating them by honoring outstanding achievements in promoting Korean culture.
To be announced at this festival are the winners of this year's "Talk Talk Korea," a global contest for Korean content; top 13 members with exemplary works among 3,432 Honorary Reporters of Korea.net, the government's official multilingual web portal; and top K-influencers, or foreign experts in promoting Korean content.
First lady Kim Jung-sook in a video will deliver a congratulatory message to the award winners.
The festival will also feature celebratory performances by K-pop acts Minzy and LOONA, the latter being this year's promotional ambassador for KOCIS.
